Visitor Centre may be closed tomorrow any one considering going best call 0121 357 7395. the Reserve will be open but not the Hide

Not sure at the moment depends on the weather the best thing to do is ring number in above post on Friday afternoon rspb staff will be able to give you a better idea regards Centre and Hide opening at weekend

Cold weather movement continues in the Valley. The (or another) dunlin was on the Tame and a couple of pipits were chasing each other near the FM slipway. Never got eyes on them and I’m not good with rock pipit call but they gave that impression to me. Likely in cold weather? Per Mike Ixer

Mandarin, Scaup, Red Kite, Merlin, Goshawk, Marsh Harrier, Osprey, Little Ringed Plover, Ringed Plover, Golden Plover, Redshank, Common Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper, Kittiwake, Little Gull, Little Owl, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Wheatear, Rock Pipit, Sand Martin, Swallow, House Martin, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler
