I am a relatively new fan of bird watching. My granddaughter loves them and through watching out the livingroom window with her, I have become a lover of wild birds. Our favorite book is Birds of Nova Scotia and we have been reading/looking at it for 2 years now.

I am retired from the insurance industry and now have the time to read, write, quilt, and of course watch my birds.

Hi canuckns,

A warm welcome to BirdForum from all the Moderators and Admin. Glad to have you on board :t:

We spent some time in NS earlier this year and, amongst other places, visited Kejimkujik Park. Saw some great birdlife.
