I am retired and in my late sixties. I live in Newton Abbot, Devon, UK. I have always been a keen lover of all things in the natural world, from insects to birds, animals, underwater life as well as wildflowers and trees. I am particularly very interested in birds. My eyesight isn’t as keen as it once was. I easily spot the slightest movement and my identifications are supported by my understanding of the subjects habitat, and habits. The difficulties that now face me even more so are when trying to identify similar birds.

Hi Hally and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
