Dinnet & Kinnord Estates, Aboyne: Gamekeeper convicted for firearms offences and trespassing on neighbouring estate while carrying a firearm 2006; Golden eagle found poisoned 2006.

Thanks for the info. Why am I not surprised? As Terry Pratchett says, the trouble with million-to-one chances is that they happen all the time, and with that background data, it doesn't exactly discourage any local with a shotgun, never mind estate workers, from actiing covertly.
