Assume this was taken in Mauritius? Anyway, looks like it with the downcurved bill. The rings are probably a good indicator too as I can’t imagine anyone bothering to ring Madagascar fody in Mauritius.

The colour rings are pretty diagnostic - but also the longer bill than Madagascar fody.
