Mexican warbler? (1 Viewer)

Mexico is a very large place, so where exactly?

Could possibly be a female of one of the yellowthroats

Yellow warbler. Female common yellowthroat is different with a different bill. This has clear strong yellow fringes to the wing covert feathers that the yellowthroat lacks. I wonder if it's one of the Northern birds rather than the local mangrove yellow warbler

Thanks for this info, much appreciated.

Hi Burtus and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. That really is a beautiful bird and a terrific image too. I hope we may be able to see some of your pictures in the Gallery before too long.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
