any more pics with this bird? does not strongly resemble a caspian on what i can see.

No that's all I'm afraid. I'm just interested to know other views on it's possible identity. Surely too small for GBB?

I can't offer much more help here, but I'd agree that it isn't Caspian.

a runt 2nd cycle GBBG is a real option for this gull. don't know if that apparent p10 mirror is real but it would support GBBG since apart from caspian all the other taxa are unlikely to show a mirror in 2nd cycle.
