Wild Turkeys circling dead cat (1 Viewer)

Hi All,
My apologies if this has already made the rounds. My daughter posted this and I thought I would put it up here for comments. I don't have a Wild Turkey on my life list--what a sighting this would have been;).

Well, I now that I posted it and read the text, I see this at the end of the article:
Dave Scarpitti is a wildlife biologist at the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. He suspects the turkeys were sizing up the threat of the cat and had no intention to make a meal out of it. He says turkeys prefer bird seed and vegetation.

Pretty weird.
