Sri Lanka (1 Viewer)

Have three weeks (unguided, except where unavoidable) in Sri Lanka coming up in Jan/Feb. All preparations are pretty straightforward bar two things:

1) Accommodation at Kudawa/Sinharaja. Unable to get an emailed reply from Martin's no matter what I try, any suggestions? Blue Magpie responded immediately, but that's way more than I'd ideally pay. Or is it possible to rock up in town and find accommodation and food on spec?

2) The whistling thrush seems (per ebird) to have a new stake-out just SE of Nuwara Eliya by the A5, but detailed directions would be handy (PM if you'd prefer).

Thanks in advance

Steve
