Hole appeared in my garden, its on a raised bed above to brick ponds the hole at the bottom is around 30mm dia with a scooped out put at the top, what little animal could this be for ?

I'd have thought Woody or maybe Bank Vole. Hadn't thought of cat - yeuch! Depends how far it goes in?

I think they are referring to cats digging hole to use as a toilet, but this looks like a mouse or vole to me

Hi,
I got holes like that last year and it turned out to be a Stoat, it had a nest near buy and I think it was either after mice or bird food. I saw it with three kits or whatever they called and then I never saw it again.
