Boa Vista, Cape Verde April 2013 (1 Viewer)

Nice report on a distinctly eclectic choice of holiday location Mike - desert, wind, sea, and not a lot else, except birds, by the sound of it!

Cheers
Mike

Thanks Mike, still following your adventures in HK, hope you're not missing Lam Tsuen too much.

Very enjoyable read.

I was restricted to about 28 hours on Boa Vista on 1st/2nd May during a bit more wideranging Cape Verde trip. We had hoped to spend three nights on the island which would have been far closer to doing it justice.

The male Magnificent Frigatebird was present on Iheu de Curral Vehlo around midday on 2nd May incubating an egg but unfortunately out of site from the mainland.

More fortunately I had managed to pick up a bird from Ilheu de Passaros earlier that morning looking south to Iheu de Ballareutes.

All the best

Paul
