Bird catches fish photo (1 Viewer)

Hello,

So, I was out birding, and I witnessed a bird catch a fish. I was able to get a picture of it. This bird, (Not sure what kind of bird it is,) caught a Rainbow Trout. You can see the trouts tail in the first two photos. Then, you can see him swallowing it in the third.

It was AWESOME to see that and get a photo of it!

Nice series of shots. The bird is a Double-crested Cormorant—compare the photo with that of the cormorant in your “Osprey” thread.

Thanks for pointing that out. I actually forgot that you said that in my other thread! Thanks for reminding me! I'll label it as a Double Crested Cormorant.
