350D and Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 EX (1 Viewer)

I need some help. If I bought the Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 EX, could I mount it on a 350D, or would the lens be to heavy for it?

Thanks for any help.

It would work perfectly well. When I have a heavy lens mounted to my 400D (I previously had a 350D) I always hold the camera with my right hand, and support the lens with my left hand. If you use a tripod, mount the lens on the tripod, not the camera, assuming the lens has a tripod mounting ring. A really heavy lens can put an undue load on the mount, if you attach the camera to the tripod.
