No, actually, you can win more than one pair! Each week's drawing, every entry is qualified, I think. (However, only one post per day - that has changed since the original posting)

"Yes Dear"

We are but actors, in the play called our lives,
but who's the genius comedian, who wrote in wives?!
Now don't get me wrong, my missus is a pretty good egg,
it's only every other day, that I have to beg

You see there's one 'nagging' thing, that makes my head spin,
in fact sometimes it's like, talking to an alien
Rather than a minor 'niggle' let alone 'giggle', it's a bit of a pain,
let's keep it between you and me, or I'll be in the dog house again

She's in the kitchen washing the dishes, and making a hell of a racket,
Oh for some peace and quiet; headache pills - I'd need half a packet
The problem is folks, she's as deaf as a beetle,
crashing around in there, oblivious of the need to be gentle

You don't know how frustrating it is, she's yelling about oranges,
when all I'm trying to talk about, is bl**dy apples!
It's like walking on eggshells, dodging random serves,
I long ago tore out my hair, 'cause she gives me the irrits n gets on my nerves

There's really only one time, that I am truly afraid,
and that's when she forgets, to wear her hearing aid
"What's that? You think I'm the maid!"
No Dear, with a pound of flesh you're paid ....

It's doing my head in, and it's quite a chore,
"What! you should talk, if you reckon I snore"
When compared to a post, I chuckle 'cause she's just as deaf,
"What! So now I have to cook extra dinner, for your mate Geoff?!"

No Dear, I think you did mis - hear,
"What!" "You never told me he was *queer!"
"Well he's not bringing a 'friend', into my house - I'm having none of that!"
Stuff me, you really are - a silly old bat

I could stand the forgetfulness, and confusion day to day,
If only I could follow the train of thought, she's trying to say,
Add it all in, and vaguely you will go - from haiku to suduko,
Next thing you're being cursed!, 'cause she's sick of cooking choko ....

You've got the wireless so loud, that the neighbours from clear across town,
rang up and politely requested, that you TURN THE DAMN THING DOWN!
Around about then I was doing a crossword, which led to an almighty mishap,
I asked who won the 1975 F1 world championship? boy didn't her jaws flap

"LAUDA!" you say?
Whoa - hold on! that story's for a whole 'nuther day,
We're not going there! that's for a different forum,
'Cause here on BF, we must maintain some decorum ....

So in the end folks - for my sanity's sake, I think it's easier just to agree
"Yes Dear", looks like a life of jibberish and madness - is the way it will be.

P.S. Gretchen, Chris-Leeds, joannec, and anyone else who wants to know,
I've had the Zens in hand for a couple of days now, and as luck would have it we are absolutely plagued by raptors - Little Eagles, Spotted Harriers, Wedge-tailed Eagles, you name it, it's on constant high rotation fly-by!

Charles kindly let me upgrade the 8x42VISTA for an 8X43ED3 by paying the 286USD difference (as per the ZEN-RAY website pricing) since I needed more ER. Thanks Charles!

I just want to try and enjoy them for a while before too much analysis - my first impressions though are:-
*Really bright, *Neutral Colour representation (this is really nice, and works well during the soft twilight here), *Fast focus speed (I personally love the quick focus speed - my old clunkers were actually faster!), *Nice focus knob - Thanks Brock!, *Nice tactile armouring, *Dainty size (father always did say I had hands like a sailor!), *Light weight, (these last two should be read in reference to the fact that I'm coming off 1kg clunkers! and I'm about the size of a full grown black bear!)

P.P.S. I think we can finally answer pshute's ?????? question ?????????
(who's going to win the Prime HD's)
It's me!!!!

P.P.P.S. *[Editorial note]: Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Please let me win this week! I'd love to have my own brand new bins instead of always getting my oh's hand me downs!
