I saw this bird on a TV program and wondered what the species is.
The habitat seemed to be a suburban park / walkway trail.
I did a screen grab. I hope you don't mind me asking.

It’s a quite common bird in the far west—California, southern Nevada—particularly near water.

I would like to visit California one day but it is halfway round the world from the UK

If you wanna see a Black Phoebe, it's a fairly common and conspicuous bird throughout much of central and South America too, right down into Argentina
