I am getting an error message when attempting to open 'Bridge'

Error 2 photoshop 11 is undefined Line 1 photoshop 11 invoke(false,false");bridge

Any suggestions please,I have tried resetting CS4 to no avail

I assume you have tried copying and pasting the error message into Google? I did it and it came up with a few possible solutions. Also, assuming your copy if CS4 is legitimate, I trust you have used the updater to ensure that it is the latest version?
