Here's a pheseant or quial. which one? hopefully we will someday know. haha, thanks in advance.

In Mercer County, Pa.? More likely a Ring-necked Pheasant than a quail, of the two choices you mention. The two differ drastically in size. How big was this bird?

oh yeah sorry i meant grouse not quail. haha, it was about the size of a pheasant.

What do remember about the length of the tail? The tails differ drastically in size.
