Celestron Ultima 80ED vs Nikon RAIII 82 (1 Viewer)

Hello,

here's a newbie on the forum from Sweden wondering about your experiences with the above mentioned two scopes.
I'm about to buy my first tube and have been leaning towards the Nikon scope and then of course I found yet another scope to consider, the Celestron. they are both in my price range.
They are priced about the same here in Sweden but supposedly the Celestron would have better glass in the scope (ED).

Hopeful for good advice!

Peter

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from the entire staff here at BirdForum :t:

You might want to post your query in the optics section of BF as it is likely to get more feedback there or you might even find a discussion on it already in progress.
