Shots (sorry for the quality!) taken yesterday on Dambovita river, near Bucharest.
My opinion is that was a flock of ruffs. Any other idea?

I'm rubbish at waders, but would have them down as ruffs. Strangely small heads, ruffled, scaly-patterned backs give it away for me, but would be happy to be put right!
 
It's possible you've got a Wood Sandpiper in there too, but I'm far from sure! See what others think.

No - I meant my comment was for post #4 - should've quoted to keep it in sequence...never mind...

Oh, I see...

A lot of black-headed gulls, some moorhens, a few large gulls (hard to decide what species), two grey herons - all in the same area with the wood sands and with this ruffs.
