2 days in Cape May or 2 days at Blackwater NWR (1 Viewer)

Hey Everyone,

we have two days after thanksgiving to spend birding,
and we don't know whether to spend two days
birding Cape May and Brigantine in NJ,
or two days at Blackwater NWR in Maryland.
We have been to Brig and Cape May quite a
lot but don't know how it would compare to
to Blackwater.
Anyone's opinions?
thanks,
matt

I would go with Cape May and Brigantine; it's closer to you for starters and with all the birders in the former place there's bound to be an interesting sighting or two turning up. But, Blackwater has Brown-headed Nuthatch. If you do go to Blackwater, you could also visit Bombay Hook NWR and Little Creek WMA in the Smyrna/Dover Delaware area among other places on the way or nearby.
