Rare Raven found killed at Killard Nature Reserve, County Down (1 Viewer)

Looking at the list of persecution incidents by year at the right hand side of that link, am hoping that the massive recent increase reflects increased data rather than a real upturn.

Ravens are rare? I'm not familiar with ravens outside Australia. Is this Corvus corax? The RSPB site says they're on its green list, which I assume means not rare. Are they locally rare there?

Not particularly pshute! The thread title comes from a newspaper headline I think, with the usual exaggeration.
