Hello birding community!
Have dipped in and out of the forum for a few years and thought it would finally be nice to say hello.
I have been a part-time birdwatcher for about a quarter of a century (Part-time = rubbish at gull/wader/little brown bird identification, but know a redshank from a robin).
I am always amazed at the expertise people have when it comes to this lovely hobby (obsession?)!
I love the peace and sense of escape that peering through my scope looking at our feathered friends brings, and the anticipation of something unusual coming into view.
If only life was like that all the time...
Regards,
