Good Birding YAMYAM

Same has October we clocked up 90 species, with Firecrest x2, Little Owl and Water Pipit being year Ticks. There was at least one Firecrest still present on the 26th and reported still present today by two visiting birders, The Hawfinch Invasion carried on with between 77 and 81birds being recorded the largest flock being 17 birds. We had 16 Brambling on various dates which was an improvement on previous years, we also had Red Kite, Dunlin, Ring Ouzel, Barn Owl, Woodcock, Mediterranean Gull, Yellow Legged Gull and a Black Swan paided us a Visit. We had 5 Pintail on Forge Mill a new Valley record, up to 4 Stonechat at various locations and 2 Nuthatch at Feeders. We also had some decent counts Parakeets c60, Blackbird c50+, Chaffinch c70+, Goosander c74+, Goldcrest c30+, Great Crested Grebe x17, Stock Dove x23 and a couple of male Pheasants appeared on Forge Mill Farm.

Nice influx of 38 Teal onto Fml. 32+ Goosander, 20+ Gadwall, 15 Shoveler, 7 Pochard, 3 Pintail, 3 Wigeon per Pete Hackett
Good Birding YAMYAM

The 38 Teal today sadly is our highest count of the year prior to today we had 15 birds in January and October Teal and Pochard low numbers are a bit concerning
Good Birding YAMYAM

Had a second hand report that a firecrest was seen on the river bend at the west end of Forge Mill Lake. I had a quick look with no luck per Mike Ixer
