White-throated Sparrow in Scandinavian Waters (1 Viewer)

Reminds me of an article from British Birds in 1972 called Landbirds over the North Atlantic: unpublished records 1961-65 and thoughts a decade later. It gives an account about someone travelling from New York to Southampton on the R.M.S. Mauretania. They were fortunate to witness a fall of over 130 American landbirds of 34 species in October 1962.
