Placings for the August 2005 competition with the theme 'Birds in Flight/Flock of Birds' are -

1st - yellow_belly with Whooper Swans photo finish which attracted 54/307 votes cast.

2nd - steveandsue with Flight Commanders/Northern Gannets which attracted 34/307.

3rd - Idsmith with Dinner's ready which attracted 29/307.

Congratulations to each of you and to every one who entered and thank you to everyone who participated in the voting :t:

The entries will be left in place for a few days after which they will be moved to their appropriate forums. Details of the next theme challenge will then follow.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments and votes which are truly appreciated. Congratulations also to the runners up but really everyone was a potential winner as there were some very fine images entered, I would also like to wish good luck to everyone who enters the next competition

So if the voting is over, why am I still getting that bloody box telling me to vote? I click on the close and it closes then the next page I go to it's back again.

Thanks to everyone who voted for my picture "Dinner's ready" and the many very nice comments. I feel honored just to place in this competition, with all the truly excellent pictures.

And a hearty “You deserve it, well done” to the two who got more votes!!!!
