Agree - male Yellowhammer.
 
Welcome to Birforum. Another for male Yellowhammer, it's the only UK bird with the combination of a bright yellow head and underparts and a bright rufous back.

Thank you everyone for the replies.. agree now having looked through some male yellowhammer pics
I thought at the time it was too large. I was quite a distance away from it hence the zoom and not good quality of the picture!!
