Would I be right in thinking this is a Common Green Grasshopper?

It is a Meadow Grasshopper, the short wings have a very noticable costal bulge, this along with the reddish tones rule out Common Green.

Thanks for the id and explanation Stuart.

It seemed a good match to the CGG photos I looked at, but I obviously wasn't focusing on the relevant features.
