Plastic or metal? (1 Viewer)

I was wondering what everyone’s preferences are to the material used in their bird feeders and what are the positives and negatives of each type? Do you recommend getting metal or plastic bird feeders as I am considering replacing the bird feeders and I am unsure as to which type to get?

Thanks in advance,

Daniel

I would go for good quality metal ones, they will last much longer. If you get squirrels they will destroy anything plastic or wooden.

Thanks, I'll start looking at metal feeders. Fortunately we don't see squirrels in the garden anymore - not really sure where they went:h?:
