i will be in Somerset from the 12th august for a few days and need to know where to go birding any help please

where abouts in Somerset will you be staying/visiting. One of the best reserves thats worth visiting is the RSPBs Hamwall near Ashcott, at the moment there have been some excellent views of Bitterns, also on the otherside of the road from Hamwall is English Natures, Shapwick Heath reserve.

A couple of other good places close to Bridgwater is Hinkley point and Steart.
Its also worth having a look at the following link which has the recent bird sightings for Somerset.
