Hi All

This has been annoying me for a long time, but i've never been able to pin it down.

I saw this bird off the cliffs in Kalbarri Western Australia, Circa December 2010
I think I was at/near Pot Alley south of Jakes point.

Kalbarri december 2010 was in full flood due to a cyclone inland filling the murchison, so might have been a number of wandering species about.

It was stinking hot (40+), mid summer and the bird was flying from offshore towards the cliffs. I've 3 iffy photos, I didn't have a very good camera/lens.

Amazing place Kalbarri for those that don't know it, always full of amazing wildlife.

I've left the photos at the original res, just cropped.

Thanks all in advance.

Isn't it a Whistling Kite? The black outer primaries, pale inner primaries and dark secondaries seem right for that species and not for any harrier.
