LED lighting for Macro (1 Viewer)

Been my experience best app might be for fill. Generally shooting with tubes, reversed lens, and every now and then a bellows. Xenon strobe flash(s) works out better for me. Shooting off a bench, maybe with subject immobilization techniques employed, their suitable at slower shutter speeds and wider apetures.

I've tried LED lighting for macro shooting with limited success. Freezing movement is so often the issue (either the insect is moving or the plant is moving in the breeze). For the rare stationary subject, LED lighting might be fine.

I guess what I'm keen on is adding light so that I can get either greater dof or faster shutter speed.
