Peregrines on Lake O (1 Viewer)

Two saturdays back, had a group out on airboat ride. Saw two peregrines. One caught a coot right in front of us! Second time that has happened this year. Also spotted eagle. And, of course, numerous snail kites. it seems like the lake is overrun with snail kites this year.

I just love watching those falcons dive bomb the ducks, coots, and gallinules. They seem to prefer blw teal, but will settle for coot.

Thanks for the info. Been meaning to head out to the Lake and catch an airboat ride. This is more motivation ;)
So cool you got to see the peregrine in action.
