Hey all,

I've never seen a Kingfisher and they look amazing. Where is the best place to see them in London? I heard a particular area of Richmong Park is good? Also is there a best time of the day/weather condnitions?

Kind regards,

Ed

Hi Ed, London is a big place! Many areas along the Lea Valley, leading out into Hertfordshire, is good for Kingfisher. Particularly good is RSPB Rye Meads at Hoddesden (easy reach from London). They are resident and breed there.

Hi Ed,

Sevenoaks wildfowl reserve (KWT) is pretty reliable for kingfisher - not quite London but is accessible by public transport from Central London.
