The Village Vidiot
In the first part of this little viddie we see Nick practicing to be a one legged cardinal. After that he feeds his little one for a while before flying off, leaving baby to figure out the feeder on it's own.

What a great video, Alan. I wonder if Nick didn't hurt his left foot somehow? Looks like he kept trying to not put pressure on the long middle toe. Maybe from kicking the baby in the tush to make him feed himself! ;)

The babies are adorable. He seemed a little nervous but is pretty well able to feed himself now.

Thanks so much! :) Can't get enough of these beautiful red birds.

Thanks -I don't know what's going on there but he does seem to be bothered by his foot. There were times on the feeder that he was doing the same thing with his other foot too. I don't know.

I saw a starling baby on the feeder last night too- very unusual for me here to have a starling let alone a baby. I am going to edit that into a little short video too and will post it soon.

Keep on watching-

Bye, Alan
