Thanks I would say about 10 metres, maybe a bit more. I'm pretty bad at judging distances.

Hi Imace, ordered FZ18 from Camerabox for £224.99 with 2 year warranty. Ordered yesterday, Sunday, and has been dispatched today for delivery tomorrow. Tried the local Jessop's before i ordered bu they were £269 and wouldn't match price.
ROLL ON TOMORROW!!

Did you get your FZ18 on time and did you get good service from Camerabox.

Yes, arrived next day with no problems. Gave it a quick try at garden bird feeders today trying various settings with varying results. It was a dull day and light was poor so pics not great but probably better than i would have done digiscoping.
