ID Help, Please -- Shorebird in California ?? (1 Viewer)

I am finally going through all my photos from last year. I came across this shorebird...taken on April 25, 3007 near the Oakland Airport. I only took this one shot and can't seem to tell what it might be.

Any ID help is greatly appreciated... :D

Thank you. Gail

I probably posted too soon asking the question. I am still new at birding and not completely used to the different coloring. I just think of them as a drab little light brown bird....

Thanks.

Indeed, a Willet. Large gray and white Tringa sandpiper, distinctive black-and-white flashes in flight.
