nz falcon (1 Viewer)

Hi
There is an interesting twist in the conservation scene in NZ. The NZ falcon is gaining attention from vineyard owners for its bird scaring potential. Falcons at one stage had a bounty on them when the land was largely sheep farms. Vineyards are now funding research into how to expand the population of falcons to reduce the damage caused by other birds to the grape harvest.
