I'm not even sure it's a bird !

Sounds a bit like garganey but you’d need to check against some sonograms

sounds a bit like a corncrake but i don't know if they have aerial vocalizations.

Yes could be a garganey. sounds like, and looks a bit like too

I've found nothing on xeno-canto about flight calls of corn crake, and i don't have my books within hand's reach...
