Following a visit to UK last year I have a number of Fungi photographs. Any help with identification would be appreciated. All fungi were photographed in the Ardnamurchan Peninsula in the West Highlands of Scotland.
Thank you.
Dave

Hi Dave,

Bit tricky without gill shots, but here goes...

1 - Amanita fulva
2 - Armillaria sp.
3 - Amanita muscaria
4 - Hypholoma fasciculare
5 - Pass - I can see lophodermium sp. on the pine needles, but I guess it's not that you want identified:)

Cheers,
Nick

Nick, many thanks for this. I know it sounds daft, but I can never bring myself to destroy or damage a fungus in order to photograph the gills. So I have a lot of nice pics and not too many ID's!
I'll be posting some more Ardnamurchan fungi shortly.
Best wishes,
Dave.
