Dark Arches, Dartford? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

This large moth was in my trap this morning. Image with a Bordered Sallow for size comparison. Bigger than Cabbage and Angle Shades.

Is it a very dark Dark Arches? Wings are slightly open in this shot.

I can certainly see your dilemma. It looks like it should be something else, but nothing really matches (not quite right for Dark Brocade), so it only really leaves Dark Arches...
