    this is one of the pelicans that hangs around the fishermen and is used to people around. I was about 5 meters away.

    I was photographing black-winged stilts at sunset when I looked up and saw this pelican flying into the wetlands. I quickly grabbed two shots.

    If a cormorant can...

    How can a bird this gawky be so graceful? Extraordinary creatures, pelicans. He went for the full stretch and scratch routine for me. I should have got more pictures, but I was distracted by a large party of Crested Terns bathing enthusiasticaly nearby. 1/660th, f3.8 19mm zoom
