Had a great time at Regents Park yesterday. Back here in Sweden there's a temporary thaw and the pavements are treacherous with water-covered ice. Hope the pavements and paths have time to clear before it freezes again later in the week. Still lots of snow though so that won't have time to melt.

They really are beautiful and the wife informs me that they've been on the feeders every day since I came to London. Hoped to do some sightseeing today and maybe even see some birds in the parks but I heard that the forecast is for heavy rain so we'll see.

Off to London tomorrow to take part in the BETT conference on technology in schools. Back in Sweden on Monday. I'll take my laptop so I may be able to post some pictures. I'm borrowing my wife's 50-250mm lens but I'm not counting on getting any bird pictures.

We had a great time at Rstassjn yesterday but it will take a few days before I start to post any pictures. We saw everything we expected to see and my wife found a nice surprise. It looks like being a beautiful sunny day today so I'm heading for the woods.

    Seasons Greetings!

All the best for the festive season to all at Bird Forum! Bullfinches are the Christmas birds in Sweden as most of our Robins leave for the winter. On Sunday we had 2 pairs on the feeders and I had my best chance yet at pictures.

There have been some stunning shots of Bullfinches posted on the forum but it has always been a bogey bird for me! So although these aren't great I was pleased to see them and get some record shots

We haven't had any Bullfinches on the feeders this winter so this one from Scotland is the only one I've taken for ages.
