    I don't know what these birds have to do with bulls. Their Norwegian name ("dompap", cathedral priest) makes more sense to me as the males seem to be wearing a cardinal's red robe with a silver and black stole and a black skull cap. Oh, and I think their numbers may have risen a bit this year...

    And then there's our Xmas card bird. I know for some of you that would be the Robin, but on Norwegian Xmas decor it's the Bullfinch. And yes, it may seem a bit odd to call a garden with a feeder station "abandoned". It's actually a former garden, an untended garden, one where the house burned...
