a lifer form the shore
nothing special about it, as a matter of fact this is a real common bird in the red sea shores but last Monday was the first time i see one. this is taken on a dry mangrove swamp, although i tired my best to hide behind the mangroves and move carefully towards it, he did not let me come closer...- ammadoux

I've been trying to get close to this crab plover for a week. On Thursday I went too far onto the soft mud and got bogged down, fortunately I was towed out before the tide came in. So far this is as near as I've managed.- AJDH
