    A flycatcher I was certain of.....he was eating flies....but what kind (of flycatcher)? After world wide consultation with the experts here at Bird Forum we'll call it Dusky. Really appreciated the id help.

    Spotted this little bird while driving through Hluhluwe Umfolosi, it obligingly sat still while we moved the car around but was still quite far off for a small bird.

    Thanks to JCWings and B Lagopus I am now fairly certain this is a Dusky flycatcher headed south to Mexico for the winter. My novice birding told me it was a warbler LOL. Think I will always be a novice the way I misidentify birds. Oh well, luckily I have people here who are willing to help.

    Some identifying features of the Dusky; Bill is narrow, mostly dark and of some length. Wings have low contrast edges on feathers and a short primary projection. Head is rounded and tail appears long and notched or square.
