This Greylag swam in front of my camera and looked at me..... so what could I do. For all the journey, and drive to get this far, and the pictures I'd taken - it still wasn't 9am!

The reed bed just outside the hide has been cut back and I suddenly realised that there was a sleepy Greylag lying there. Fortunately he later woke up so I managed a picture of him with his head up.

We highly recommend it, as long as you're prepared to take a day off from the internet (go ahead! you know that's good for you ;)) Anyhoo ... I'll browse when we...

Drinking, gurgling, or just showing off

Nearing the end of that visit to Kinnordy (though there may be some SF pictures yet to come). This guy had flown in a bit earlier with another, then swam round in front of the hide, obviously wanting his portrait taken! I seem to be getting more confident in big crops.

After the excitement of the Garganey, back to normal with a common or garden goose!;) It's quite a big crop this one.
