    Blue Jay Call

The Blue Jays where I now live (in Virginia, near the Allegheny Mts.) have a call that I can't find in the Merlin app, or even in the Macaulay Library. Taken yesterday. I don't know if it's the same bird I posted on Tuesday, but Jays seem particularly busy with acorns at the moment, presumably stashing them away as winter food. Thank you for your comments, stay safe and well. John

The bird was below us and started anting, unfortunately a gardener started up a lawn mower that spooked the bird so I only managed a couple of shots
