April was good time for these beauties lots of them showing around the city, and still i saw one today but there numbers and much less.

he is still around in the neighborhood, but whenever he dare to show up in the garden the bulbuls kick him out.

being going to that public garden for sometime, as now i am baby sitting my youngest niece Sarah, use to see this nervous one and thought its a Turkestan Shrike, or an Isabelline, but now as i got a clear shot, its a masked one, and it seems to be wintering here, did not know they do that.
this beauty is being around my area for several days, the bulbuls don't seem to mind him, anyway they are busy making the nest. and he seem to be busy with the grass hoppers.

seem a bit late, and also not usual for shrikes to stop by my garden in the Spring migration. as the bulbuls will kick them out.
anyway it was really hot yesterday, they told us we can leave work as it was ecpected to reach more than 45 C.
