    Blue Tits Territorial Fight

These two blue tits landed no more than 5 feet from me in January, fighting over territory, I imagine. They were quite oblivious to my presence, the fight lasted about 2 minutes & was absolutely vicious!

    Visiting Hoopoe, in Northern Ireland

I was one of about 30 lucky people to see the hoopoe which arrived in Comber, last week. It stayed for about 4 days before heading off for summer in Southern Europe. He caused quite a stir as they are so rarely blown this far off course, making a few local papers.
