Part of a group (creche) of about 100 immature flamingos. They calmly walked across the marsh, in a long stretched line, led by a few adults, a wonderful sight.

Well yes, I too have succumbed to the strange charm of the Flamingos (Phoenicopterus roseus). I don't like them though, documentary duties forced me to film them

I'm a bit confused about the origin of the ring, the 4-letter codes starting with W normally come form Sardinia, Italy but as far as I understood they are supposed to be on the left leg.

The Camargue is one of the southernmost regular wintering places of Bewick’s swans. Together with the flamingos, there were a few hundreds of mute swans and about twenty Bewick’s swans. If you look well, you can spot two of them, one on the left and one on the right.
